Phase 1 of this project consists of site assessment of 17 rest areas across the state. Findings were documented, along with a preliminary cost opinion on repairs, in a 100-page report developed by the project team.
Phase 2 consists of a phased plan and construction documents for all deficiencies documented, including current ADA compliance and two new rest stop buildings. The SAME project team is planned for the assessment of three (3) GaDOE State School Sites.
