Originally built in the 1970's, the 50-meter x 25-yard Double Churches Pool no longer served the needs of the community. Construction of the new city natatorium featured a 50-meter x 25-yard competition pool, slating Double Churches for changes. Our team worked with Markey & Associates, the Columbus Consolidated Government, local swim teams, and Columbus Parks and Recreation to redesign the pool to better serve the community.  The project included the following components:

  • Zero-depth entry pool with play equipment
  • 25-yard x 25-meter pool
  • New pool house with:
  • Locker rooms
  • Multipurpose room
  • Administrative offices
  • Concessions area
  • New pool equipment building
  • Covered exterior area
