Callaway Field House

Callaway High School in Troup County, GA has a earned quite a reputation for the quality of its school athletic programs. The school wanted to add a multifunction athletic facility that would create an indoor training facility to allow athletes to continue to train year-round regardless of weather. We teamed with G3 consulting and the school athletic director to study similar facilities around the state, taking lessons from the best to provide a truly multi-functional athletic venue.

The new facility has an indoor astro-turf field, batting cage, physical training room complete with whirlpool tubs, boys and girls athletic locker rooms and showers, coach’s locker room and conference room, concessions, public restrooms, a large screen projection for reviewing game films, and a significant amount of much-needed athletic storage. The facility also provides two durable steel frame camera towers overlooking the football field and tennis courts. Coaches (and quite a few SEC recruiters) will have a 92’ long x 8’ wide raised deck viewing platform overlooking the practice field; a unique feature in Georgia high school athletics. The camera towers are equipped with a public address system allowing the school administration to use the facility as a school emergency evacuation rally spot as well as providing the band director a platform for the direction of band practice.
