1200 Broadway

One of a few remaining modern structures on Broadway, 1200 is a diamond waiting for new life. Our architecture team provided concept designs to a private investment group in effort to assist with mixed-use visioning of the property. Each concept provided acknowledgment of the transparent level at the street and the opaque levels above. The design ideas allowed for flexibility of tenant type while also addressing solar orientation, primary versus secondary facades, scale, materiality, and reinvention of the overall tectonic context of 19th century Uptown.
